Goal

The past couple years have been a real high and low for dog rescue. Record number of dogs adopted during COVID and an even greater number dumped back in the shelter system and on the streets post COVID.

Tristen and I have been rescuing dogs for over 14 years and we currently are fostering Fluffer who is our 2,257th foster dog. Needless to say we believe in the life saving work of rescues. As an original founder of Labs and More this was the year we wanted to do more. I decided to retire from the business world and dedicate more of my time to rescue work. With the help of Doug and our friends I purchased a property and we built our Boarding and Care Center, Labs and More Rescue Ranch.

We are thrilled to have such a wonderful place for so many dogs to find a safe haven and a place to recover.  It takes a community to care for these dogs and we have that. Hundreds of Volunteers visit the ranch each month, caring for and walking our dogs.

In one year we have housed and cared for 1,038 dogs and puppies and our goal is to increase this to over 1500 dogs annually. With your help we can make this happen. One of these special dogs who was cared for at the Ranch was a senior dog named Fluffer. When rescued from the shelter she was laying in blood. We immediately took her to several Vets who determined she has Colon Cancer. Her time is very limited so she is living out her remaining days with Tristen and I at our home.

We are blessed to be able to touch the lives of so many dogs each day. We hope you will support our goal of raising $4,000 to continue to save dogs at the Rescue Ranch.
