For my mom and me, the San Diego Chorus was so much more than a place to sing. It was a place to belong, to grow, to laugh, and to create beautiful memories alongside an extraordinary group of women.
My mom spent 33 years with the chorus, and I had the joy of sharing 16 of those years with her before we each became emeritus members. Along the way each of my sisters and even my eldest daughter became members for a time. What a gift it was to share our love of music and harmony, not only with each other, but with the wonderful women who became such an important part of our lives.
The friendships, the performances, the laughter, and the magic of creating something beautiful together will always hold a special place in our hearts.
No matter how you rename us, once a Sweet Adeline, always a Sweet Adeline! ❤️🎶
