Goal
Celebrating 60 Years of Scropton RDA!
For six decades, Scropton Riding for the Disabled has harnessed the power of horses to transform the lives of local disabled people. Riding and other activities with horses improve mobility, boost physical and mental wellbeing, build confidence, and teach valuable life skills.
To mark our 60th anniversary, we’re launching a £60,000 fundraiser to ensure our life-changing work continues for generations to come.
I’m proud to be part of the “60 for 60” Challenge for which I’ve pledged to learn 60 British Sign Language words or phrases throughout November, raising funds to help reach our collective goal of £60,000.
Every word or phrase that I learn supports Scropton RDA’s mission to improve physical and mental wellbeing through activities with horses.
My final challenge will be to hold a (short!) conversation in BSL with our long time rider Matt Dalley.
If you are able to sponsor me, please click on the donate button, so that together, we can keep the magic of Scropton RDA alive—for today, tomorrow, and the next 60 years.
If you would like to take on your own "60 for 60" challenge just click on the 'Want to fundraise' button at the top of this page
