5th Annual Jake Engel Hoops for Hope Barbecue

The Hoops for Hope Barbecue is a community event that raises funds to combat the opioid epidemic on Long Island, NY. We donate all of the money to Hope House Ministries, a local non-profit organization that provides care and hope to individuals suffering from addiction. The center of the event is a basketball tournament held at Cedar Beach. There is also a barbecue, raffles, and live music. Our purpose is to create a life-affirming, healthy event that people look back on, and look forward to, with the knowledge that we can all come together for a cause greater than ourselves. 

Addiction is a matter of life and death. Help us choose life.
