500 miles by Brompton (for Kafunjo!)

Hey everyone!

I've been doing some serious thinking about how to boost emergency funds for the Kafunjo community project. Right now, we’re in a bit of a pickle. While we've managed to support our secondary school students and help our graduates with their university studies, it’s left us with a significant shortfall for our own school, which provides food and education for 350 children.

Our amazing teaching team are feeling the pressure, and some are leaving because of salary issues. The community is starting to question our ability to deliver on our promises, and that’s something we can’t let happen. We truly have the best supporters, but we need to turn things around!

To help raise funds, I’ve decided to take on a new challenge. Initially, I thought about cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, but after crunching the numbers (and looking at the weather), I realized that wasn’t feasible. Then, I had a lightbulb moment! I found some ridiculously cheap flight deals and have decided instead to cycle 500 miles across Morocco instead. Good old Ryanair! ✈️

So, here’s the plan: I’m set to pedal from Tangier to Agadir starting this Tuesday on my trusty Brompton. It’s going to be a tough ride through the heat and sandy terrain, but I’m committed to making it happen. 

Naturally it’s all self funded so every penny you donate goes to direct to the project.
