Your support helps provide free training, coaching, resources, and restorative spaces for leaders and communities serving those hurt or disillusioned by religion.

A major 2019 Barna study found Australia had a disproportionately high number of people disengaging from church compared to global trends. At the time, 72% of those who grew up in the church were considered disengaged. Since COVID, many estimate that number has risen to 80-85%.

This means many followers of Jesus are becoming wandering sons and daughters, disillusioned and unsure where they fit within God’s Kingdom story.

But God has not been caught off guard.

Across Australia, new expressions of Christ-centred community are emerging, communities seeking to lovingly walk with those who are hurting, weary, or disconnected. Many leaders are sensing a call to leave the 99 to pursue the 1... or, in this case, leave the 15% to reach the 85%.

And they need support.

Since 2007, 4thSeedMinistries has been helping equip the Church to BE the Church beyond its four walls. With nearly twenty years of experience in planting, multiplying and training Mission Communities and Missional Microchurch, we now serve as soil to nurture and water gatherings who are pursuing those distant or disillusioned by religion.

This is done through Jesus-centred, trauma-informed coaching, training and resourcing. We seek to help grow soul-care among the Body by helping others nurture healthy spaces to rediscover Jesus, healing, and belonging in the Father’s Kingdom.
