Hi everyone! 

I am very excited (THRILLED, actually!) to be able to participate in Dancing With The Doctors. 

I would like to introduce myself: 

I am Professor of Medicine and the Director of Bariatric Endoscopy in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. I also serve as Program Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship program. 

Originally born in Santiago, Chile, my family immigrated to Texas when I was a small child. We stayed in the United States and planted our roots here. After medical school at UTMB in Galveston, TX, I moved to Jacksonville in 2008 to complete my postgraduate training in Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopy. 

I LOVE dancing, singing and listen to music day and night. I am truly blessed and fortunate for this life I have been given. 

Above all, I am Mother to 4 young sons: Andres (9), Jacob (5), Cristian (5), and David (5). They keep me active, motivated, energized, and thankful everyday of my life.
