WE ARE TOMMY STRONG!

Please join us on May 23rd to help us cheer on the 11U Ramsey Travel Blue vs the 11U Ramsey Travel Gold Baseball teams as they meet again on the baseball diamond for their 4th annual fundraising game for the Tommy Strong Foundation!!! These little sluggers were Tommy’s classmates and friends. By collecting donations in Tommy’s honor for the Tommy Strong Foundation, these two teams, from the same BLUE and GOLD heart of Ramsey, are uniting forces for one AMAZING cause.

Our goal is to spread awareness and help children fight cancer, while teaching our youth that no matter how big or how small, we can all make a difference. Last year, the teams raised more than $13,000 to support childhood brain tumor research programs and support programs for children fighting cancer. 

Please consider pledging a one-time flat donation, an amount for each run scored, an amount for each strike out…your choice! Every donation made helps us STRIKE OUT CHILDHOOD CANCER and makes us all TOMMY STRONG!!!

May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month. Pediatric brain cancer is the deadliest type of childhood cancer, having surpassed childhood leukemia. There are many different subtypes of pediatric brain cancer making life-saving research and treatment difficult. Sadly, the National Cancer Research Budget only allocates less than 8% of its research dollars to ALL childhood cancer research, therefore medical researchers must look elsewhere for their funding. Private foundations, such as the Tommy Strong Foundation, are committed to finding cures and better treatments for children with cancer and collaborate with the medical community to make advancements in childhood cancer research.
