313 Outliers Campaign 2022




We’ve made it our mission to fill information gaps and increase accountability through public-service journalism that makes our city a better place to live. That’s why from April 14 through June 9, we are asking our community to help us expand city government reporting for Detroit. 


With your support, Outlier Media can: 

 

  • Provide information about how our city is addressing pressing issues such as taxes, city services, public transit cuts, utility shut-offs, and more. 

 

  • Offer dedicated editorial coverage in Detroit’s City Hall so residents know who are current government officials, what decisions they make, and how it affects local residents. 

 

  • Produce more original reporting focused on local government for the Detroit Documenters weekly newsletter.

 

 

We plan to measure the success of this campaign by how many Detroiters donate toward this cause—313 Detroiters to be exact!  At Outlier Media we want to grow a strong community of engaged citizens who have the necessary information to take action. Donate today!
