Goal

This year, we're aiming to raise $50,000 to support our comprehensive healthcare services and assemble 200 Care Kits filled with essential items for our patients.

Every Wednesday, Cowboy, Art and I spend our day checking in on people living on the street.  We drive from FM1960 to South Houston and out west down 59, trying to care for and meet all the people on the street who otherwise have limited or no access to healthcare.  Recently we have been caring for a gentlemen in his 70s who used to be a truck driver.  Over time, he lost his vision due to eye disease, and due to a lack of insurance, was never able to get it taken care of.  As his vision deteriorated, he lost his job and his home, and has found himself trapped, without family, under a highway overpass.  When we first met him, no one was checking in on him, no family, no city agencies, except for a few truckers who would regularly drop off food for him.  Our team team found him, reconnected him to basic services that we all take for granted, and are starting him on the journey of getting the care he needs for his eyes.  He was hesitant at first to engage with us but we persisted because we believe that every person deserves to live with dignity and respect.  We would love for you to partner with us in this mission.
