LOOP NOLA: 25th Anniversary Celebration

In 1997, Dan Forman hosted his first outdoor adventure for New Orleans youth. 25 years later, over 25,000 children and youth have participated in a life-changing LOOP experience. Over the course of 2022, we will be looking back on the impact of Dan's legacy on New Orleans youth. We'll also be looking forward to ensure the adventures continue for the next 25!  

25th Anniversary Celebration Goals:

- 35 sustaining donors commit to give monthly
- Raise funding to support our public school programs and the Outdoor Ambassador Internship program. The Outdoor Ambassador Internship program was incredibly important to Dan and we want to ensure it is fully funded for years to come.

- Raise $15,000 in one-time GiveNOLA Day donations: 

Make a sustaining donation to honor Dan's memory and make certain New Orleans youth continue to feel the power of the outdoors through LOOP!

About the Outdoor Ambassador Internship Program: 
The Outdoor Ambassador Internship program provides historically underserved youth and young adults with professional and leadership skills in an engaging way. The program provides eighty hours of professional, leadership, and outdoor technical skills. The interns learn how to lead and motivate younger youth while developing their competence in outdoor recreational activities. Through the program, they gain critical professional and leadership skills and a stipend to help them successfully achieve their educational and/or career pursuits.
