Presentation -  Trauma-Responsive Grief Support for Youth & Families Impacted by Homicide Deaths

Join us for the 2026 NACG National Webcast, a three-hour educational event designed for professionals, featuring presenters Samantha Anthony, Sam Middleton and Katherine Streit from Uplift Center for Grieving Children in Philadelphia. This 3.5-hour education event will highlight:

  • How historic and systemic oppression shape the homicide-related grief experiences of youth and families.
  • Culturally and contextually responsive strategies for understanding and addressing stigmatized grief responses such as vengefulness, guilt, and shame among co-victims of homicide.
  • Trauma-related grief behaviors that may emerge across the lifespan for survivors of violence.

The National Alliance for Children's Grief is hosting this important conversation.

Registration includes lunch, viewing of the live-streamed presentation and a brief discussion facilitated by Annie's Hope.
