2026 LA Medical Mission Trip

This last month has brought celebration, travel, new experiences, breathtaking sites, it has strengthened friendships and brought family and friends closer to my heart. It has also brought unimaginable loss, grief and pain. I now feel more certain in my decision to travel to Guatemala  with LA Medical Mission to volunteer and help make even a small difference in the lives of others.  If you’d like to support me on this adventure, I would be forever grateful. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps make a difference. 

Support our team for our 2026 trip to San Mateo, Guatemala! Our team of over 85 volunteers will once again provide free medical care to those in need. Our team consists of medical professionals including general practitioners, surgeons, dentists, nurses, and a group of "Helpers," who assist as translators and support staff.

Our volunteers dedicate their vacation time and fundraise to cover their travel, meals, and housing expenses while on this mission.

During our stay, we anticipate treating over a thousand of patients in clinic and dental care areas. Our surgical team plans on performing up to 130 surgeries, including cleft lip and palate repairs, gallbladder removals, tubal ligations, and hernia surgeries. Additionally, our outreach team will visit a nearby village to provide care to those unable to travel to the hospital.
