2026 Chicago Marathon

I am running my 9th Chicago Marathon in support of the Live Like Roo Foundation—a cause that is deeply personal to me.

In September 2024, my sweet boy Duke was diagnosed with oral melanoma and underwent a partial mandibulectomy. After months of treatment, we finally received the all-clear—only to be faced with another devastating diagnosis: aggressive mast cell tumors. Through both diagnoses and every step of treatment, Live Like Roo graciously said yes to helping Duke fight cancer.

That simple but powerful “yes” meant everything to us. It was in that moment that I promised to always give back whenever and however I could.

I have since lost my beloved Duke, but I run in his honor so that more families can hear those life-changing words: “Yes. We’ve got you.”
