2026 Chicago Marathon

I’m running the 2026 Chicago Marathon to raise money for the Live Like Roo Foundation, which helps dogs and their families after a cancer diagnosis.

I’ve always been a big dog person. My own dog fought and survived cancer, and I’ve fostered dogs throughout college. Seeing how strong and loving they are, even in tough times, made this cause really special to me. Live Like Roo gives families hope, care, and support when they need it most, and I’m so proud to run for them.

The name “Roo” also has a personal meaning for me. It reminds me of Abby, someone who brought so much light and love to everyone around her. She adored animals, so running in Chicago for Live Like Roo feels like a special way to honor her and keep her spirit alive through something positive.

Every donation helps families facing one of the hardest things imaginable and supports the dogs who bring so much love into our lives. Thank you so much for helping me reach my goal and for supporting such a meaningful cause.
