2026 CFFI Month of Giving

The Community Foundation for Independence (CFFI) has the chance to earn up to $100,000 in matching funds from the Patterson Family Foundation—but we need your help to unlock it! This year, we need to raise $200,000 in eligible community donations to unlock the full $100,000 matching grant. Every dollar we raise brings us closer to that goal!

Here's the exciting part: We have chosen to use some of those matching dollars to match individual gifts—meaning your donation could go even further!

A portion of the match funds will go directly to our community partner organizations! For every $1 you give to a participating organization through this link, CFFI will add $0.25, stretching your impact. The remaining matching funds will help strengthen the foundation’s future, ensuring ongoing support for our community.

Here’s how it works:

• Step 1: Choose the fund or partner organization you’d like to support from the drop-down menu.
• Step 2: Make your donation online.
• Step 3: CFFI will add an extra $0.25 for every dollar you give to a participating organization, helping your gift go further! (Organizations may earn up to $15,000 in matching funds, while matching funds remain available!)

Important: All eligible donations must be made through this page or by check or cash during November 2026 to qualify for the match. Eligible donations must be new money coming from outside of the foundation to qualify for a match.
