2025 Barstool Challenge

Help us raise money for the Veterans Memorial Ski Area in Franklin! I learned how to ski at the Vet's when I was a kid and now I get to watch another generation of young skiers and snowboarders find their love for skiing here as well! The Vet's is such a gem for our community, often offering free ski weekends and hosting many other community events. We are so excited to help support this awesome cause! 

2nd Annual Don’t Fall Off the Chair Barstool Challenge May 17, 2025 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Support - The Vets and have fun at our barstool challenge at the Waterhorse Irish Pub, downtown Franklin. Build a team or join a team for this 9-hour barstool marathon complete with games, live music, and prizes.

Build a team – Teams of 6-10 people committed to manning the barstool for 9 hours. Team members do not need to be in attendance the entire time and a Team Captain needs to be selected. Minimum entry fee is $1,000/team (should be easy if each member can get sponsorships of $100).

The 2 defending teams from 2024 are committed to raising funds, participating and having fun for our 2nd Annual Don't Fall Off the Chair Barstool Challenge. Drake's Droppers raised the most funds and Waterhorse Mug Club had the most points. Will your team be able to out beat either of these teams?!?

Register – Team Captains must register their team and submit the entry fee by May 1st to secure a barstool. Links will be sent out to Team Captains for online sponsor submissions. Checks can be made payable to Franklin Outing Club and mailed to PO Box 324, Franklin, NH 03235. Be sure to write the team name in the memo section so we know how to apply the check appropriately.

Donate – Can’t make it on the 17th but want to donate to the Vets or to a team? Links for each team will be available prior to the event to make an online donation. Checks can also be mailed.
