2025 runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend

As many of you know, almost 15 years ago I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis in my femur. I was told that there was a chance I may not walk again. After two difficult surgeries, years of physical therapy, and a lot of hard work I was extremely fortunate to gain back my full mobility. Nearly 2 years ago, I began a journey to be able to run again. It has been a very slow and careful process, but I am thrilled to call myself a runner! 

I am even more thrilled to share that I have been selected to run with Team Hope Story in the Disney Wine & Dine 10k on October 25, 2025!  I am honored to challenge myself to support such a wonderful cause. 

Hope Story provides resources, support, and hope to families whose child has received a Down syndrome diagnosis. Your donations are used to provide no-cost resources to families whose child has received this diagnosis.
