🎽 I'm Running for a Reason! 🏃‍♀️💙

In October, I’ll be running a 5K with Hope Story, an incredible organization that supports and uplifts families who have a child with Down syndrome.

I was drawn to their mission initially as I have worked as a special education assistant during our stationed in North Dakota  and have seen military familes who have children that have been diagnosed with Down Syndrome. When it comes to healthcare and support for special needs children in the military , it is sometimes a challenge for parents especially when you are moving every so often. So to be able to see how Hope Story helps and supports families like the ones I’ve worked with, I knew that I couldn’t pass up this opportunity. 

Hope Story connects parents with other families who’ve walked this journey before, offering encouragement, education, and real-life support. Their mission is close to my heart, and I’m proud to run on behalf of such a life-changing cause.
