Bright Futures From the Bottom Up! 2025 NashDiaper Virtual Diaper Drive

I joined NashDiaper two years ago, and honestly, I had no idea about diaper need. I mean, I just have four cats — why would I know? (Although I do have a tripod cat that might need to wear one day…just saying.)

What really opened my eyes was working events and talking to parents who face impossible choices every single day: do they buy groceries or buy diapers? Do they feed their child or make sure they have a clean, dry diaper? It’s heartbreaking, and it made me realize how something as simple as a diaper can make a huge difference in a family’s life.

One of my favorite parts of being involved is running our Diapers For Diplomas program. Through it, parenting students receive 200 free diapers per month for a full academic year — helping them stay in school while caring for their little ones. Knowing these babies and their parents get support feels amazing.
