Bright Futures From the Bottom Up! 2025 NashDiaper Virtual Diaper Drive

Hi! I’m interning with the Nashville Diaper Connection this semester and in the Spring, where we work to make sure every family in the greater Nashville area has access to clean diapers. As a public health student, I’ve learned how essential basic needs are to someone’s health and overall quality of life. Early childhood experiences have a profound impact on a child’s development, and when families struggle to meet basic needs, stress increases for the entire household. By supporting diaper access, we can alleviate unnecessary hardship and help set our youngest community members up for success.

There hasn't been a time in my life where I wasn't surrounded by little kids. I’m the oldest of four, so I grew up helping take care of my younger siblings. In high school, I coached toddler soccer classes through Lil' Kickers, which eventually turned into years of babysitting. I've been around my fair share of diapers, and experienced how quickly kids go through them.

I understand how important it is for families to have the essentials they need, and diapers shouldn’t be something they have to worry about.
