2025 Live Like Roo Foundation Marathon Team

This year, I’m taking on my 8th Chicago Marathon while fundraising for Live Like Roo. Last year, I received the news no pet parent ever wants to hear—my pup, Duke, was diagnosed with oral melanoma, an aggressive form of cancer. His best chance at fighting it was a partial mandibulectomy. I reached out to Live Like Roo, and without hesitation, they covered not only Duke’s surgery but also his follow-up treatments. I can never fully repay what they’ve given me, but I will always do my best to pay it forward. No donation is too small—every dollar helps give families more time with their beloved pets, and that is truly priceless.
