2025 Live Like Roo Foundation Marathon Team

I'm so excited to be running the Chicago Marathon for the 3rd (!!!) time, this time with Team Live Like Roo! 🐶 Live Like Roo provides support and financial assistance to families whose pet faces a cancer diagnosis. It all started in 2015 when a shelter dog named "Sisqo" captured the heart of Sarah Lauch, a good family friend of mine. When he was rescued and renamed "Roosevelt" (Roo) and undergoing a medical exam, they found cancer. It was terminal. He was given a bucket list and lived like a king for 6 months. Sarah was inspired to help others in his honor and founded Live Like Roo--granting over $2.3 million dollars for pets and rescue animals with a cancer diagnosis and sending 5,500 cancer care packages since 2016. 

I would be incredibly grateful to any support you could give in the form of a donation. Live Like Roo was founded locally in Chicago but has provided support nationwide to families who face the incredibly expensive and devastating journey of having a pet with a cancer diagnosis. They've helped dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and even horses. I can't think of a better team to run with as I cross that finish line for the fifth time. I'm honored that Sarah and her team have welcomed me.
