Goal
Teach one → Train hundreds → Power thousands.
That’s the ripple effect you make possible when you support Remote Energy.
I joined the board of Remote Energy several years ago because I found their mission to be incredibly important - to bring energy access to people who wouldn't otherwise have it. The Remote Energy team is a small and very efficient team, working tirelessly with local partners to provide training to underrepresented communities - from Native American Tribes & Nations, to young women across Africa.
By now you are well aware that this has been a rough year for nonprofits, especially those serving women and working in renewable energy. The work still remains critical, but it is more difficult than ever to make sure our projects are funded. We are turning to individuals to fill in the gaps left by cancelled federal contracts and grants.
Every dollar contributed goes directly to funding training programs, providing scholarships for people from rural Alaska to East Africa. If you want to hear directly from some of our students, check out this video of one of the classes last year in Nairobi, Kenya.
I would be so very grateful if you are able to support our work.
