D&S Needs Your Support
In 2025—at a time when dollars rule and there's very little sense to be found—we need a voice like D&S more than ever. For more than 50 years, Dollars & Sense has published incisive, timely, and unflinching analysis about how our economy works (and doesn't work). We're not afraid to stand up to the powerful and give regular people the tools they need to fight back. We're committed to promoting popular economics. And most importantly in a time when media is more and more dominated by the billionaire class: We're funded by people like YOU.
As they say, no good deed goes unpunished. Precisely because we're funded by people like you, we're always in need of more support. Your donations help keep us going. We've got no billionaire angel investor, no corporate donors, and no big advertising income stream. That means we're unbossed—but we absolutely need your financial support.
What We Do
Dollars & Sense publishes a bi-monthly magazine and the Real World Economics series of textbooks and college course readers. Your support will help us continue to educate students and counter the mainstream orthodoxy of academic economics programs. Donations allow us to keep the prices of our books and magazine more affordable so that we can reach a larger audience.
