Hey dream chasers!

As 2024 came to an end, we just wanted to thank all of you for helping us contribute to the growth of the dance community in different spaces. Together, we’ve hosted multiple events, earned over $7,400, and supported artists and art lovers through all the highs and lows of this past year.

At [CHAMBER], our mission is to encourage healing through the power of movement while documenting the history of dance through various media. This year, we collaborated on various projects, from media coverage at the 405 Traffic Jam and Body House Dance Summit, to choreographing productions like weddings, debuts, and music videos. We’ve also provided easy access to wellness services like free physical therapy screens to keep movement artists functioning at their best.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we received a remarkable $2,300 in combined donations, which helped further progress in developing Chamber as a non-profit and allowed us to put our community first in all that we do.

Here’s a breakdown of our financial highlights last year:

• Actual Revenue: $ 7,406.13
• Expenses: $ (3,665.00)
• Net Income: $ 3,741.13

Although we missed some projected revenue, our team remains committed to uplifting the dance community and artists of all kinds.

To kickstart the upcoming year, we hope to fundraise $7,000 to help us:

• Develop effective Somaflow programming for people of all ages to reach new heights of wellness and creativity
• Document the history of dance through expanded media projects
• Bridge choreography and freestyle, fostering even more creative collaboration
• Maintain and grow our wellness services for dancers and events
  
  

While we’re still operating at a financial deficit, we do it all for the love of dance and the hope that our community continues to thrive, find joy, and be present with the people around them. Thank you for being part of our journey—we believe that together, we can keep building something really special.
