All four of our children live with cystic fibrosis, a condition that affects their lungs every single day. The journey has not always been easy, but God has made a way for our family time and again—and continues to carry our children through each step.

Staying active isn’t just important for them—it’s essential.

Over time, swimming has become one of the most powerful ways they care for their bodies, especially their lungs. Their pulmonologist has confirmed that this level of consistent swimming is as beneficial for their lung health as the chest physiotherapy treatments they depend on every day for preventative care.

Because of the extreme health benefit this level of physical activity provides to those that have CF, BreatheStrong CF offers exercise grants to help build and maintain a lifelong habit of physical activity. This organization has been instrumental in helping our children maintain their current level of physical activity.

Among our initiatives, we provide direct support to people living with CF across the US through exercise grants that are designed to help them build and maintain a lifelong habit of physical activity.
