2026 Fundraisers

Hi friends! As many of you know, I am passionate about supporting people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). This is my 20th year running in the Publix Atlanta Marathon and Half-marathon. This makes me a “Streaker” having run every race since the 2007 Inaugural!  

My very first year running this race was Team 65 Roses. Through the years with many changes, this team initiative is now supported through the BreathStrongCF organization.

I’m very excited to announce that for my 20th Race, I am fundraising for BreatheStrong CF!

This year, I will run the 5K on February 28th and have set a goal of $2,000. $2000 to BreatheStrong CF could provide 10 $200 grocery cards to CF patients in need at CHOA or 3 Exercise Grants to those with CF.

About BreatheStrong CF: 

BreatheStrong CF is a nonprofit organization with a mission to advance the physical and mental wellness of people with cystic fibrosis through education, direct support, and empowering opportunities.

Among our initiatives, we provide direct support to people living with CF across the US through exercise grants that are designed to help them build and maintain a lifelong habit of physical activity. We provide funding for a wide range of fitness-related expenses, empowering recipients to move in ways that strengthen both body and lungs.

For CF families in Georgia experiencing financial hardship, our Critical Needs grant may be able to help ease the burden of groceries and fuel costs.
