We are so incredibly grateful that Azaylee was recently awarded a Cystic Fibrosis Exercise Grant through BreatheStrong CF to help cover her soccer registration fees. 💙⚽️

For Azaylee, soccer is so much more than a sport. While it helps support her physical health and build stronger lungs, it also gives her something to look forward to, provides a community and friendships, and most importantly, gives her a place to simply be a kid. The constant CF management and stressors take away so much of these kids’ childhood innocence. Her mental and emotional health are just as important as her physical health, and soccer brings so much joy and a sense of normalcy to her life.

This grant has also been a tremendous blessing to our family financially. Moving to California and adjusting to the incredibly high cost of living has been challenging, and every bit of assistance makes a difference. The cost of raising a child with CF comes with many additional expenses as well, and having her soccer registration covered is one less financial burden for our family and allows her to continue doing something that is so important to her.

Because this program has made such a meaningful difference for our family, we are now helping raise funds so that Azaylee and other kids with CF can continue to have this opportunity. 💙
