2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Running my first ever DisneyRun! To top it off I have challenged myself to run the half marathon at Disney with Hope Story. There is no better way to encourage me to take on this goal than for a great cause. Working with Abbie has brought me so much knowledge about the DS world. Those who know the Smith's can attest on how hard they rock and work for their family. From all the obstacles they had to face via trial and error, to now being able to share all that knowledge with parents getting diagnosed, they have accomplished amazing things!

Abbie's ability to talk to a first time mom, not only being scared for her first child but to receive a diagnosis of DS is astonishing. Even when she is not talking to me directly about it all, I can feel the support and comfort she was pouring out with all the knowledge she has shared. All of this makes me so proud to be able to help Hope Story and be a part of such a great cause. All the work her and her husband do on the daily through Hope Story connects families of those with DS and gives them the encouragement that everything will be okay!

Your donation will help Hope Story provide resources, support, and hope to families whose child has received a Down syndrome diagnosis. Thank you for considering our runners as they work hard to meet their goal of running in the 2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!
