2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Hi I'm Haylie! I LOVE to run and I recently ran in RunDisney's Springtime Surprise event! Before and During the race I kept noticing "Team Hope Story" pink shirts cheering me on in the spectators sections AND from fellow runners! I thought it was amazing but I didn't really know what the shirts meant. I saw a post about running for charity in the Disney runs and thought, "How does it get better than THAT?" Rick from Hope Story reached out to me with the opportunity to run and support them in the next Rundisney event and I JUMPED at the opportunity when I found out Hope Story's mission is to give support, encouragement and hope to parents whose children have received a Down syndrome diagnosis from medical professionals and other parents of children with Down syndrome. These children are so special and deserve to be celebrated! Please help me raise funds to not only get to the race and support these kids but to help the parents of these children! I'm running for my God Daughter Olivia Cook who hasn't let a Down Syndrome diagnosis stop her from bringing joy to everyone around her!!!
