2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Hello friends and family! 

If you know me you know I love Disney and also love Run Disney! This year I decided to run two races (5k and 10k) at RunDisney’s Marathon weekend in January 2024 in this little guys honor! 

This little guy right here is Luke! He was one of my first clients at Elite Therapy Center and he and his family are just amazing! He is the brightest light you will ever meet! He and I worked on expanding his communication through a communication device. Since getting that device his verbal language EXPLODED! His mom even sends me videos of him singing happy birthday and reading books now! Luke and his family have been such a blessing in my life. I wanted to give back to them! I am raising money for the charity HopeStory. This charity helps connect families with the diagnosis of Down Syndrome connect with doctors, specialist, other families and communities for support! Luke’s mom Lacie Carpenter Gaines has the pleasure of knowing the founder and has utilized their resources for her family!
