Since 1974, MIAD students have changed history with their creativity, design, and problem-solving skills.

One of our key goals for this special year is to ensure that we don't face a situation like last fall, where 40 students, despite receiving aid, couldn't attend MIAD. Howl Hazebrook, who is graduating with a degree in Illustration this year, was able to pursue their dream of attending MIAD thanks to scholarship donations.

"Due to being low-income, college wasn't exactly accessible to me. I had planned to attend a community college or not attend at all if l wasn't able to receive the funding needed to attend. But MIAD was my dream school, so I decided to give it a shot and apply. When I received my acceptance letter and learned about the scholarship money I was awarded, I had never been happier. College wasn't just some silly dream anymore."

Howl will take their love of illustration and storytelling to work in the comics industry after graduation. You can see their senior thesis project, a book titled The Misadventure of Buckaroo Sunday: The Big Produce Predicament in this year’s Senior Exhibition on campus now.

Your donation to MIAD scholarships on this significant anniversary will make a lasting impact. Thank you for building a foundation for our community by helping MIAD students achieve their full potential.

If you prefer to make your donation by check, please make it payable to MIAD and send it to:
