2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise

The last 10 years have been a life changing rollercoaster for me. It was a decade that tested me physically and mentally in ways that I never would have imagined. What started with a weak 28 year old grad student has ended with a strong independent 38 year old woman and I’m ready to continue my journey of recovery.

With that, I have decided to celebrate these 10 years of life by expanding my running journey and running 10 miles - one mile for every year I survived. On April 21st, I will be participating in the runDisney Springtime Surprise 10-miler. 

Since this will officially be my longest run, I wanted to make it extra special by partnering up with a charitable cause so I will be running on behalf of Hope Story. Hope Story provides resources, support, and hope to families whose child has received a Down syndrome diagnosis. 

Every dollar of your donation today will go towards helping Hope Story connect every parent who child is diagnosed with Down syndrome to another family raising a child with Down syndrome.
