2024 runDisney Halloween Half Marathon Weekend

I am excited to be running the Disneyland Halloween 5K and Half Marathon this year in support of Hope Story charity!  Many of you may not know that I have a half brother with autism who was diagnosed at age 4 when I was in my late 20s.  I helped support my father and his family through the diagnosis, but at that time, he had limited resources on autism and we knew no other families with autistic children.  It would have meant so much to my father to have connected with more families with autistic children, so he could have had more of an idea of what to expect and who to ask about resources, education and treatment options.  I am proud to run for Hope Story, a charity organization that connects families with children with diagnoses with Down Syndrome so that they can build communities and help each other navigate this diagnosis.
