2024 runDisney Halloween Half Marathon Weekend

As part of my personal cancer recovery, I chose to begin training to participate in a RunDisney event. My hope was that partnering Disney, my passion, with running; I would be more motivated to achieve my health goals. Through this process, I have not only become healthier, but happier! 

Volunteerism and Community Service have always been close to my heart, but while I was sick, I was unable to give back in those ways. (Here is where my story gets exciting!) I have found a way to combine all of my passions by running for a charity in Disneyland this fall! I have officially partnered with Hope Story to participate in the 2024 runDisney Halloween Half Marathon Challenge! Hope Story provides no-cost resources to families whose child has been diagnosed with Down syndrome. I can't think of a better way to support these families!
