2024 Butterfly Parade and Community Walk

Join us on September 22nd at Hudson Gardens in Littleton CO from 11am to 1:30pm as we gather in person to celebrate the people in our lives who have Turner syndrome. If you cannot make it, a small donation is greatly appreciated! 

Hunter’s story:

Hunter screened high risk for Turner Syndrome during an early pregnancy genetic screening test. We opted out of further invasive testing to confirm her diagnosis during pregnancy because it truly did not matter to us if she had it or not. We knew she was going to be perfect no matter what. During her month long stay in the NICU after she was born seven weeks early, we received her official diagnosis of Turner Syndrome. Fortunately, Hunter has been very healthy since she was born and is thriving! We are unsure what the long term effects that her diagnosis will have on her but we are extremely grateful to have a happy, growing, and beautiful girl. The Turner Syndrome clinic in Denver, CO has been incredibly helpful in helping us navigate what impact Turner Syndrome could have on our beautiful baby girl. This fundraiser means so much to us and are grateful to be part of such an incredible organization. We know times are hard so we are extremely grateful for any donation. 

All donations will be used to support the important programs of Turner Syndrome Colorado, including the eXtraOrdinary Kids Turner Syndrome Clinic. Turner Syndrome Colorado needs to raise $75,000 to cover the costs of the Clinic for the next two years. This clinic provides a “one stop shop” for families to see all the providers they need to accommodate for their child in just one visit.
