Established in 1986, BNT focuses on developing affordable housing in Bridgeport and providing housing counseling statewide in Connecticut. Our mission is to eradicate housing insecurity, income inequality, and homelessness while promoting first-time homeownership and intergenerational wealth transfer through education and counseling.
As Fairfield County's leading HUD-certified housing counseling agency, this year, we've enrolled over 1,200 individuals in classes, conducted 400 coaching sessions, and helped more than 70 clients become first-time homebuyers, enhancing financial and housing security. We take pride in collaborating with other nonprofits, engaging residential real estate professionals, and partnering with housing advocates like you to better address the needs of the LMI community.
