The Fall Harvest of Hope is the Port Ministries' largest fundraising event of year. Community members, volunteers, and donors are all invited to 115 Bourbon Street on Sunday, October 15 from noon-4pm to celebrate the Port Ministries, thank our donors and volunteers, and learn more about what we do.
This year, we are excited to return to an in-person celebration. There will be a silent auction to raise money for community wish lists, shared videos highlighting our programs and partners, and the Fall Harvest of Hope Community Service Awards will be presented.
This is a bilingual and family-friendly event, complete with food, beer, and wine, raffle tickets, gift baskets, and giveaways. Everyone is welcome to participate in age-inclusive activities, including games and activities for children.
The Port Ministries is a Franciscan-inspired organization that provides the fundamental needs of the mind, body, and spirit. We do this by offering free programs and services that holistically work together to serve the under-resourced and under-served residents of our communities on Chicago's South Side.
The Fall Harvest of Hope raises 39% of our general operating budget each year. We thank donors like you for being able to support the work we do and the resources we provide to our community.
Please consider making a one-time or monthly donation, participating in our silent auction, buying raffle tickets, denaturing wishlist items, or sponsoring our event.
This year, we celebrate Dr. Dectric Fletcher! Dr. Fletcher is a long time volunteer Medical Professional who has been with the Port Ministries for over a decade! We are proud to honor him with this year's Fall Harvest Community Service Award!
Thank you to Marquette Bank for helping to sponsor this event.
