Goal
Bikes for Humanity PDX has shown up this year again giving hundreds of old bikes new life and a loving forever home. In 2022 over 250 bikes have been lovingly fixed up and sold at sliding scale affordable prices, and by the end of the year 100 will have been granted, with new quality u-locks to folks in need. All told, through service in our shop or at events, and taking in donated bikes, we've been able to improve, redirect away from landfills, or otherwise give needed attention to 500+ bikes. All year long we've opened up our shop and provided:
- A place where individuals can donate their bikes to guarantee a meaningful outcome for their old ride.
- Educational and impactful volunteer experiences for dozens of individuals who have put in nearly 500 hours in our shop, from home and at events.
- Affordable used and new parts, as well as service for individuals with low incomes to get help with their bikes.
- A roster of a dozen+ quality bikes with options as low as $50 for a quality kids bike with gears or a basic ready-to-ride adult bike.
This work does not generate a profit--particularly this time of year!--so please support our campaign if you're able.

B4H continues to have a pivotal roll in redistribution of repaired working bikes to folks needing access to affordable self powered transportation and recreation. Expertly done; bravo and thank you!
