Hello, all, Dr Mouth here letting you know it's once again time for the Fall Fundraiser here at CIUT 89.5 FM. That means it's time for you to show your financial support for Dr Mouth's Rock & Roll Lunch Party and CIUT as a whole.
I have been part of the CIUT broadcast team for many years with a decade long stretch in the 90s before returning about 5 years ago. It is something I love dearly, as I love to share my musical discoveries with the world. When I was young, the radio was the home of music in our house, but even as a youngster, I was always disappointed by the way they would tell you nothing about the artist you just heard, or sometimes, even the title of the song itself. This bothered me so much that I wanted my own radio show where I could play the tunes I loved and tell people about them.
That's what I get to do at CIUT, share the wealth. My show is simply my musical journey as it continues through the years with you along for the ride. I am constantly discovering new music, so the show is always fresh and filled with new stuff all the time. But of course, I also pepper it with some my all-time faves, which are also tracks that often have not been heard by the greater public, or, as I like to say, have slipped through the cracks. And because of the great freedom of CIUT, I can embrace music of any genre from gospel to death metal!
