Imani Milele Children: 2020 Mission Uganda
The Imani Milele Children short term mission teams accomplish long term impact by building and renovating schools and playground structures, empowering students through kids resource ministries and by providing desperately needed pop-up medical clinics for rural communities.
Medical professionals from all over the US team up with native Ugandan doctors and nurses, to provide quality healthcare to poor and remote Ugandan communities. 19,000 patients have been treated between 2014 and 2019.
In the last few years, we have seen blind children receive sight; malnourished children nursed back to health, and thousands of malaria cases cured.Undoubtedly, the healthcare provided has spared many children from becoming orphaned by parents suffering from curable illnesses.
The cost of bringing quality healthcare and life-changing kids resource programs into rural communities throughout Uganda is high, but each dollar has a profound impact.
Our 2020 operating budget it $75,000; that is only $13 per patient who will be treated during our medical clinic, and only $5 per child whose life will be enriched during our children's resource program.
A gift of any size will help meet the overwhelming needs, and all gifts to Imani Milele Children are tax deductible.
