We're postponed, but the Big Gay BBQ is back! Re-scheduled for October 17, 2020!
Pride Community Center, Inc is proud to announce the return of the Big Gay BBQ, commemorating the Supreme Court denial of certiorari in Gay Student Services vs Texas A&M on April 1, 1985 and "letting stand the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruling the school to recognize the student organization" (Wikipedia).
Co-Hosted by the TAMU LGBTQ+ Pride Center and Walmart, join us for family activities for all ages. Starting off, we will have an interactive health resource fair with a range of vendors from throughout the community. Following this, there will be an easter egg hunt, bounce house, and drag queen storytime for the kids. Horseshoes, sand volleyball, ladder ball and corn hole for the kids at heart. Fun for all! Music by our DJ Bear Tracks and a special performance at 4:00pm by some very talented local entertainers. Food service will begin at 2:00pm. Please bring a side dish to share. The BBQ is a free event open to all.
