The Morrison Communities 2020 Annual Report
Without a doubt, 2020 has been a challenging year, challenges that required us to be creative and resilient. We made numerous changes in every area, from family visits and meal planning to medication management and daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
In reviewing our areas of greatest need among our most significant challenges of the past year, we have identified two key areas we need to address in 2021: educational opportunities for staff and outdoor enhancements for residents.
We want to create greater learning opportunities for staff to advance their job skills by “growing our own” with tuition reimbursements, which helps us retain skilled employees. The funds we raise will provide financial support to employees who wish to further their education.
With social distancing guidelines in place this summer to keep our residents safe, we found our outside space on both campuses severely limited. Going forward, we want to redesign existing spaces and add others dedicated to outdoor visits and activities that are flexible, allow us to meet the highest safety standards, and ensure that the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors is always an option for all of our residents.
You can help us meet our Annual Fund goal of raising $20,000 so we can realize these initiatives in 2021.
