Lotsa Love

Every day, White Pony Express (WPE) transforms surplus into sustenance. Our volunteer-powered operation rescues fresh, nutritious food from local grocers, farms, and restaurants—and delivers it free of charge to over 140 nonprofit partners, food pantries, shelters, and schools throughout Contra Costa County.

We've reached an extraordinary milestone: 40 million pounds of food recovered since 2013! But the need continues to grow, and too many of our neighbors still struggle to put healthy food on the table while perfectly good food goes to waste.

The food is there. The need is there. WPE connects the two.

Our LOTSA LOVE year-end campaign must raise $650,000 by December 31 to sustain our vital operations, rescue more food, and reach more neighbors in the year ahead.

The need won't wait for the new year. Neither can we.
