Fund Lasting Change Across America in 2018 and Beyond
2018 isn't over! We're still going strong, with work in Mississippi just completed and efforts to help in Georgia, Louisiana, and Maine likely still ahead. SO, keep on giving - and know that by being a monthly sustainer, you make even more progress possible into 2019.
Open Progress has received a challenge grant which will match all donations raised between now and December 31 up to $250,000! This donor believes that Open Progress' focus on expanding the electorate through personal digital outreach is the path to real, lasting change in 2018 and beyond. Our plan for change is built from our hands-on work in close races in 2017 including Doug Jones for US Senate and the Virginia House of Delegates' 15-seat pickup. Our plan is:
- Focus on key states starting with Florida, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Michigan. ---> DONE! Now, we keep it going into 2019
- Get started now to register new voters and outsmart noxious voter suppression laws in every one of these states. --> You can never do this enough. 2019 will see even more of this work.
- Target critical constituencies including young people ages 18-25, Hispanics, and African-Americans. --> Yup! Even more to come in 2019 especially as turn our focus to the work in Florida now that Amendment 4 has passed!
- Partner with other groups such as Mi Familia Vota and 90-for-90 for the greatest impact as our work is most successful when we work together, not as a lone wolf. --> Absolutely. We'll keep at this partnered approach into 2019 because we know it is the key to lasting success.
Help us achieve our goals of registering thousands of new voters and ensuring it is easy-to-vote for thousands more, thereby laying the foundation for a transformative electorate in these critical battleground states for years to come.
Every dollar you give today matters.
