Lake Washington High School Dance Team Giving Campaign 2018-19 Season

Our team provides young women the opportunity to be part of a competitive team that not only helps generate school spirit at home games, but also provides us an opportunity to compete in competitions throughout the school year.  We routinely compete in the WIAA State Championships in March.  In our 2016/17 season and then again in our 2017/18 season, we brought home first place trophies in the Pom and Military categories at the state championships!  

Participation on the team enables us to develop and improve our leadership skills, increase our respect for others, learn discipline, and strengthen our commitment to ourselves and community. We are also proud supporters of the Andrea Rizzo Foundation, a charity that funds dance therapy for children with cancer and special needs.  Already this season, we have been hard at work and growing stronger as a team each time we come together.

Over the 11 month season, there are many costs incurred by the team, including but not limited to: uniform and accessory costs, travel expenses, and competition fees for our State Dance/Drill competition held in Eastern Washington each year.  Any and all donations are extremely helpful and are greatly appreciated.  No amount is too small and it is tax-deductible.
