Goal
Help us go to Rome...or rather bring Rome to you!
Our 7th Tour tackles Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Under the direction of company member Eric Mercado (As You Like It '14, The Comedy of Errors '16), this play is not just high school required reading. An exciting look at the dangers of Ancient Rome, filled with deception, prophesy, friendships and war.
We can't do it alone though. We strive to make our tour performances free to all audiences. While we are lucky enough to have many partners along the way, in order to make no location too far and to keep our productions interesting to look at and our actors fed, we need help. We don't ask for you to buy tickets, but if you can afford to make a donation, consider it a gift to your neighbor as you help to bring Shakespeare not just to your backyard, but to theirs.
- A gift of just $10.00 buys food for one of our actors for a day
- Every $25.00 gift covers printed materials for a performance or a workshop
- If you are able to spare $50 then we've just costumed one of our actors (and clothes are appreciated in parks)
- A generous donation of $100.00 covers rental fees for auditions or van rental for 3 days
If you can spare more, we can put it to use. We are frugal, but we have hard costs including paying our artists which is very important to us (they're happier when they can pay their phone bills and call their loved ones). We also strive to be transparent. If you want to know how we use our dollars, visit us online. We have a rough budget on our website. Additionally we will happily answer any questions about how we are putting your generous, tax deductible donations to use. We are so thankful for you, and your neighbors who reap the benefits of your donations by seeing our shows - well, they are thankful too!
