Goal

Saturday October 5, 2024

I have decided to take part in this walk in honor of my brother Joshua, who passed away a little over a year ago. Josh would’ve turned 50 on October 5. As many people may know, Josh struggled with mental health issues as well as addiction and therefore spent several years being homeless. So I am using this opportunity on his birthday to remember him and make a difference for others who may be experiencing a similar struggle. I would appreciate any support you may choose to give to this cause. Thank you.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Manchester at Ste. Marie Parish invites you to join us for this fun annual fundraising event that enables us to assist our west side neighbors and the homeless of Manchester with food, clothing, furniture, car repairs, and so much more. The walk is a 3.5-mile round trip, mainly along the Piscataquog Trail, making it a safe adventure for families.  A BBQ lunch will be served upon your return.

Please consider donating to take part in the walk, and even more so, soliciting family, friends, and businesses to sponsor you and your family. If registering as a family, please email the contact below with names and ages so we can plan accordingly.

Sign-in begins at 9:30 AM at the corner of Cartier and Wayne streets alongside Holy Family Academy. The walk will begin at 10:00 AM.
