Over the last few years we've seen the loss of 2 great indie theaters - the Main Art in Royal Oak (2021) and The Maple Theater in Bloomfield Township closed their doors on February 5th.
Here at the Milford Independent Cinema we are facing similar financial challenges. In response, we're launching a Winter Fundraiser Campaign tomorrow, February 16 with the ambitious goal of raising $10,000 in 10 Days! The campaign aims to raise vital funds to cover essential expenses such as rent, utilities, maintenance, and programming, ensuring that the Milford Independent Cinema remains a vibrant cultural hub and a cherished gathering place for movie enthusiasts of all ages.

$100 - 4 tickets
$500 - 4 tickets + 1 Single Membership
$1,000 - 4 tickets + 1 Free Cinema Base Rental
$2500 - 4 tickets + 2 Free Cinema Base Rental
$5000 - 12 tickets + 2 Free Cinema Base Rental
Corporate Donation Levels
$500 - 4 tickets + 1 Single Membership to use for themselves or gift to an employee/client
$1000 - 4 tickets + 1 Free Cinema Base Rental
$2500 - 4 tickets, 1 Free Cinema Base Rental, and 1 on-screen ad for 12 months
$5000 - 1 Free Cinema Base Rental, 1/2 page ad in our playbill for 1 consecutive year, and 1 on-screen ad for 1 consecutive year

A couple of times movies have been played with a “discussion” afterwards. We would have gone to a show a couple more times, if there had not been a discussion. Don’t know if others share this view or if we are an isolated example.
